April 10- Hahnemann Day.
These are the words of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, that always inspire us to give our best: ……………………………………….
ADHD is a condition involving inattention and hyperactivity. Though it is a condition usually diagnosed in childhood, many adults continue with inattention even in adulthood while hyperactivity tends to reduce with the age. Most ADHD modern medications work by increasing the activity of one or both of two chemicals, dopamine and norepinephrine but have a lot of side effects.
Children with ADHD as well as adults can be helped with safe, homeopathic medicines.
It is a disorder where the uric acid is not metabolised well. The serum (blood) level of this normal substance is high. The higher levels allow the uric acid crystals to get deposited in and around the joints. This causes severe pain, swelling and redness of that area. The crystals can also get deposited in the kidneys to form uric acid stones. Homoeopathy is known to control the uric acid diathesis and is also useful in acute attacks. The following homeopathic drugs are important aids in the treatment of gout……………………
After Dr. Vijay Vaishnav’s inspiring Grand Rounds lecture on asthma and homeopathy in April 2001, seven students and two faculty from NCNM (National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, USA) organized an eight-week rotation at Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital in Mumbai, India………….. For each of the NCNM students involved, this rotation was an opportunity of a lifetime!
This is the current name for the syndrome characterized by debilitating fatigue and a variety of associated physical, constitutional, and psychological complaints.
Women are twice as likely to suffer from it as men are. The patients are usually in the age-group 25-45 years, though cases in childhood and middle age are described.
Homeopaths believe in treating the patient who has the disease and not the disease in the patient. Hence, homeopathy is more likely to help such cases. The constitutional remedy selected on the basis of a detailed history and examination would bring the patient back to normal activity.
The Biochemic System of Medicine is an off shoot of homeopathy. Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler, a German homeopath, developed it. He believed that disease is caused by the deficiency of inorganic salts in the human organism………… This article is for women who are experiencing the most eventful months in their life. Pregnancy, though a physiological state, can leave a woman with either pleasant experiences, or bitter experiences- if she develops some complications.
Psoriasis is a common, inflammatory disease of the skin. Its cause is unknown, but it is genetically determined. It is often familial, but does not appear to be inherited in any regular dominant, sex-linked or recessive way. The disease has been found to be of greater frequency in men than in women. It is less common in African and Asian groups.
Puberty in girls is the period of transition from childhood to adulthood. There are profound biological, morphological and psychological changes that lead to full maturity and eventually fertility. In a short time, the child takes on an adult like physique.
Constitutional homeopathic treatment given at puberty would thus go a long way in preventing disease and maintaining the physical and mental well being of the patient.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,800 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.
Whether poison or food, homeopathy can make a substance very useful in the treatment of diseases……….. Common salt or sodium chloride is one such substance. A regular article of our diet, it is probably used only by homeopaths as a medicine.
